ORDERS & SHIPPING

Current turnaround times for orders.

First, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you enter the correct shipping address when ordering. I have SO many wrong addresses when people order. I know it gets exciting during big launches, but it is a pain when Im having to go in and correct hundreds of orders. Please contact me immediately if you did enter the wrong address. If your order has shipped and you entered the wrong address, I am not liable if the package is lost or returned to me. You will have to reach out to me and also pay the extra shipping cost to have it sent back out.


PROCESSING TIME:

(This is not including the shipping time once it leaves my hands)

The processing time it takes for me to package orders can vary depending if you are ordering when I am launching a whole collection, or if items have been on my website for a bit. 

If you are ordering on the day of one of my busy launches, please be aware processing times will be about 2-4 weeks. When I have a large number of orders come in all during the same day, processing times will be more towards the 3-4 week time. I will try and get orders out as FAST as possible because I want you to have your items quickly. So it all depends. This is why I am stating 2-4 weeks in general for processing times before your order will ship. (Again, they could ship within 1-2 weeks too, all depends)

You will receive a shipping notification when your order ships. So it is crucial you enter your email address correctly to stay updated on your order. 


SHIPPING TIME: 

PLEASE know that once your packages leave my hands, it’s OUT of my hands. I unfortunately cannot control the speed of which your package will arrive. Its determined by the carrier you choose. 

ALSO, PLEASE be aware that due to COVID-19, a lot of shipments have been delayed. 

Domestic Shipping Times per USPS:

First Class Package: 1-3 business days

Priority Mail: 1-3 business days

Priority Mail Express: 2 business days

***THE TIMES ABOVE DO NOT INCLUDE PROCESSING TIMES. MY PROCESSING TIMES ARE 2-4 WEEKS. SO THE SHIPPING TIMES ADD ON TO MY PROCESSING TIMES.***

**PLEASE understand that these estimates from USPS website can still be a couple days off. COVID-19 has slowed down A LOT of shipping times and recently the post offices have been slammed. A lot of normal delivers have been delayed by 2-3 extra days.

**Alot of factors can delay shipments. Before you reach out to me because your package has not shown up in the days above, you need to reach out to your local USPS and see if something is delaying it.


DELAYED OR LOST PACKAGES:

If your shipments is delayed or has not showed up, you can track it through the shipment confirmation email. Please check to make sure the address you entered in the order is correct. If it is, then please contact your local post office and they will help you. Again, if you think your shipment is delayed or lost YOU need to contact your local post office. Please do not contact me before you contact them. They will be able to help you more than me.

If you entered in the wrong shipping address, and it has already shipped. I am not liable for the package being lost. If it is returned to me, you need to reach out to me, and you will have to pay the extra shipping cost for me to send it back to you with the correct address.

If you shipment has been lost (by the carrier), please contact me. (AFTER contacting them)

** Due to extensive amount of lost packages, we are no longer sending out replacement packages if a claim is not filed. USPS requires a 30 day no-movement period before a claim can be filed. Once a claim is filed we will issue a credit or replacement products at our discretion**

**Book Babe Designs is not responsible for stolen packages and they will not be refunded or replaced. Please contact your local post office if this happens and coordinate with them on next steps. Your best option is to file a help request form with the carrier. Once your package leaves us, it is out of our control and we can only go by the tracking details provided.**


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

****EU AND UK customers can use websites like stackry.com to shop, but I will not be taking orders through my website. If you choose to use stackry.com, its at your own risk!****

I am currently shipping worldwide. Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout based on your location and weight/size of package. International orders are subject to custom fees and will be paid by the customer, not me. This includes VAT taxes that may apply to some international countries.

Please be aware that I do not come up with the outrageous international shipping costs. I know it sucks, but this is what the shipping carriers have them set as.

Australia international shipping:

I have had issues in the past shipping to Australia. I was informed that USPS does not deliver to Australia because of COVID-19 restrictions. Its been recently said that USPS has lifted the ban on USPS first class international packages. If I have a problem getting your label I will reach out. I have DHL as an option as well but its ridiculously expensive. 

International Shipping Times Per USPS and DHL:

First class package: 7-21 business days

Priority Mail: 6-10 business days

Priority Mail Express: less than a week

DHL worldwide: 4-20 business days

RETURNS & EXCHANGES: 

RETURNS:

I have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase (email receipt).

To return, you can contact me at bookbabedesigns.contact@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, I will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


DAMAGES OR ISSUES:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.


EXCHANGES:

Due to the nature of how quickly some items sell out, this means alot of times when a customer needs an exchange because of a wrong size, I do NOT have the inventory in the size they need. So this means most of the time I will not be able to do most exchanges. 

I will ONLY make exchanges on apparel items and only for a different size. This does not mean I CAN. (As stated above)

PLEASE make sure you read the sizing charts carefully for each apparel item so you purchase the correct size. Again, I probably wont have the correct size to trade out with you. 

If I cant make the exchange happen because of inventory, you can return the item for a refund. Please read return section above.


REFUNDS:
I will notify you once I have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
