Interior pages are 80# text weight with a felt weave affect. You can see the texture of the pages on the last photo. It’s very nice.

Journal cover is a soft touch cover with a perfect binding for the spine. If you are unsure what the binding is, its just like how a paperback books spine is. So yes you will need to pop the spine to open this flat. :)
